At Van Till Family Farm Winery, we’re searching for someone to step into one of the most important roles in our Wine Garden – our Wood-fired Oven Operator. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to become the master of our wood-fired oven, responsible for every pizza, breadstick, and baked brie that comes out piping hot and perfectly golden. From creating the perfect crust to giving each dish that signature smoky flavor, you’ll be in charge of making sure our guests get an unforgettable culinary experience.

A Brief History of Wood-fired Ovens

Wood-fired ovens have been part of cooking history for thousands of years, cherished for their ability to reach high temperatures quickly and maintain consistent heat. Ancient civilizations, like the Romans, used them for baking bread and pizzas much like we do today.
